Healthy Stepfamilies Carol and Mike Brady make it seem like combining two families is a breeze. This is known as the Brady Bunch Myth. Healthy Stepfamilies is a 6-session program for couples forming stepfamilies. It is being offered by Couples & Kids, a non-profit counseling center in Forest, VA. The Healthy Stepfamilies program is designed to help couples adjust to changing relationships and roles, learn step parenting skills, communicate more effectively, and learn conflict resolution skills. The cost of the program is $120. There is a discount to couples who pre-pay. Limited scholarships are also available. Please call 316-9339 for more information. Advance registration is required. |
